Open Water Diver — your first scuba certification
The first scuba certification, for people who have never dived. Theory, pool sessions and four open-water dives; you finish with an internationally recognised card that never expires.
Deep diving, underwater navigation and night diving
The follow-on from Open Water: certified to 30 metres, with five dives covering specialities such as deep, navigation, night and peak performance buoyancy.
Advanced Open Water is far more water time than classroom. It is five dives, with Deep and Navigation compulsory and the rest chosen to suit you. We strongly recommend it before a liveaboard, because a good number of Andaman sites sit deeper than 18 metres and can carry current. Prices and details here are a starting point — adjust them from the site admin.
An Open Water card is enough to enrol, but we suggest 5–10 logged dives first so your buoyancy is comfortable.
It isn't compulsory, but it is strongly recommended — Tachai Pinnacle, Hin Muang and Hin Daeng are deep and can run current.
