About this trip
The southern route is the one underwater photographers wait for each year. Hin Muang and Hin Daeng are two deep-water pinnacles carrying the densest soft coral cover in Thailand — pink, purple and red running down the wall from just under the surface to beyond the limit of your torch. They are also among the most reliable places in the country for manta rays and whale sharks. This trip goes further still, out to Koh Lipe and 8 Miles Rock, which day boats simply cannot reach.
